Compliance you can check before you order
Every market has its own rules for electrical goods, batteries, leather, cosmetics and bladed tools. This page lists the schemes that apply to our five categories, what each one covers, and how the documentation is obtained for a specific order.

How we describe certification
A certificate belongs to a specific model, material, colour and production batch, and it is issued by a laboratory or certification body rather than by a seller. For that reason we do not print certificate marks, numbers or validity dates that have not been verified for your order.
What we do publish is the scope of each scheme, the product types it touches, and the route used to obtain the document: existing factory documentation issued for review, a new third-party test arranged for a named order, or a factory audit supported at the production site.

How files are obtained for an order
01
Confirm destination and model
Tell us the destination country, the exact model or specification, the order quantity and whether the goods are sold retail, bulk or under your own brand.
02
Match the applicable rules
We list the schemes and substance limits that apply to that product and market, and say plainly which ones are already documented and which need a new test.
03
Arrange testing or issue files
Existing documentation is issued for review. Where a new report is needed, testing is arranged with a third-party laboratory and the cost and timing are quoted first.
04
Deliver before dispatch
Agreed files are delivered before shipment so your importer of record can complete registration, labelling and customs clearance.
Please read before relying on a document
- Certificates, test reports and declarations are issued for a specific model, material and production batch. A document for one item does not automatically cover another.
- We do not publish certificate numbers, validity dates or issuing bodies that have not been verified for the order in question.
- Where a scheme requires an importer of record or an EU responsible person, that role is held by the buyer; we supply the product data needed to complete it.
- Third-party laboratory testing can be arranged for a named order. Cost and timing are confirmed before testing starts.
Need the document list for your market?
Send the destination country, the model or specification and the order quantity. We reply with the applicable schemes, the files already available and the cost of any new testing.
